Good points on all counts. Trouble is, what can we do? No one has the $ or the time to confront the USADA and it's systems. Floyd Landis did and it cost him multiple millions and several years of his life (which athletes are likely better off for, if only even slightly).

I dont want more government and more science. I want more people to live lives of integrity so none of this nonsense even has to be considered in the first place. Athletes that place thier families and thier lives secondary to winning & antidoping zealots think more tyrannical dictatorship type authority will stamp out some invisible 'evil'. Both need a heart change, both need to trust, both need priorities straighened & ethics cleansed. Trouble is, to get there we need to leave ourselves behind & turn back to God... and we'll never do that. In modern society we want to be better, but that cost is just 'too high'. Shame.

The world of drugs is multi faceted, blurred and murky. Whether it is some unfortunate street user or a high end athlete user competing at the highest level of sport.
The one common denominator of drug users are lies. Totally, absolutely convincing lies.
The facts that Dr. Douglas (JackedUp) presents are valid and interesting. And the truth. I have known Dr. Douglas for many years and can completely vouch for his integrity. Hopefully his blog post will spur some change.
As it stands now the test methods just add to confusion and distrust. The hierarchy of sport must initiate a valid method of testing athletes. A test that uses protocol based on hard data and openness. A test that eliminates any question of any impropriety... fail safe. Until that happens any athletic accomplishment from this era will contain an asterisk. Because you just don't know.
Sport owes this to the real athletes.
