Nice work. I think with lower gears you will kill Newton's and Ascutney. You might not need to go all the way down to 39x36, but 39x28 is too big for almost anybody on a sustained 12% grade. I just put a 30x27 setup on my hillclimb bike. I'll see you at Ascutney.

I bought a set of those and I am disappointed!!. They are indeed fast to get in and out but when you are skiing along they have the tendency slide up your hand and end up on your fingers. You have to constantly re-adjust them and pull them back down into their position.

Man, that is so over the top, a 5-peat under those conditions. I've probably done 15,000 climbing rides before, but never 18,000. I would love to have joined ya, but doc says I could be in this cast for 10 weeks. Guess we won't have a rematch on Whiteface in June. Stay safe on your tour of duty.

SOmething about Germans Weiss beers...I once downed 2 pint sized bottles of it after a daylong bike ride, only to find out it was Alcohol free. Need to get me some crates of Erdinger Alkohofrei. Makes Greis go fast, it's a recovery drink for him. And it takes better than some "real" beer.

DD~ What up with the indoor dry firing pic? Back in the '90's, one of you bi-boys shot a live round (while "dry" firing) that went through 3 hotel rooms ending up 6 ft from my skull. Kinda pissed off to see you boys posting this post in light of my circumstance. I can see the humor but there are plenty of impressionable minds out there. I am assuming your condo was not a duplex and your chamber was empty? How about posting some safety information to counter this immature post? Signed, lucky to be alive!
